"Praetorian" comes from a praetor in Ancient Rome, who were the "keepers of the games." We love to keep the art of classic single-player games alive, so we are the last keepers of the games.​ Our debut game's name derives from the Latin word "Vesper" which means "the evening star," referring to the planet Venus where our game takes place.
